Want to Visit Sedona for a Month?

The Piedras Del Rojo condos are on the west edge of one of the most beautiful towns in America: Sedona, Arizona.
When you stay at our condo, you are less than 10 minutes from anything in Sedona but at the opposite end of town from the tourist bustle. You can walk to the library, a bookstore, and several shops and restaurants. There is an "undeveloped" development directly behind the condo (paved roads and sidewalks but no houses) you can use for nice walks or bike rides. Several residential neighborhoods with spectacular views are also within walking distance. There is a network of trails nearby for hikers of all skill levels that are as good as any in the country... many trailheads are within a 10-minute drive.
Grocery stores, drug stores, the post office, office supplies, and plenty of restaurants are within a 5-minute drive. A few bigger stores (Walmart, Home Depot, etc.) and a cute "Old Town" area can be found in Cottonwood which is about a 20-minute drive. Jerome (artist community and former mining town) is about 45 minutes away, about halfway up the Mingus Mountains. Flagstaff is a 45-minute drive up beautiful Oak Creek Canyon, and the Grand Canyon is about 2.5 hours away.

About Us

We (Scott and Gail) bought this condo in 2010 after renting a house in Sedona the previous year. We enjoyed the scenery, the hiking and the cultural scene (visual arts, music, film, etc.) so much that we knew we'd be coming back on a regular basis and found this lovely "home away from home." When not in Sedona, we live in West Michigan where Scott splits his time between glassblowing and publishing. Gail is a former librarian who still does some writing and editing, along with volunteer work.
